La nouvelle a estomaqué le monde de l’aéronautique. A l’ouverture du Salon de Berlin, Emirates a signé hier une gigantesque commande de 32 Airbus A 380, de 9,3 milliards d’euros au prix catalogue. Cela porte à 90 (record absolu) le nombre de super jumbos achetés par la compagnie de Dubaï, qui assène à ses concurrentes une preuve éclatante de sa santé et de ses ambitions.

le trader société générale qui en janvier 2008 devint le bouc émissaire pour tout un système financier devenu fou, suite à la perte par la société générale de 4,8 milliars d'euro. Son procès doit s'ouvrir le 8 juin, mais avant celui-ci, jérome Kerviel publie sa version de l'affaire qui l'a rendu célèbre malgré lui..

1500 Business plans style "copy and paste"

Schmitt said that he received 1,500 business plans a year but they're all consigned to the trashcan. He said these business plans were full of "bullsh*t" and were a "complete waste of time". He said: "I don't care if we have a full 60 page business plan - I want people to give us ideas." They were generally speaking full of cut and paste stuff based on financial analysts reports. There are very few original ideas around, he said.

To those who do have bright ideas, Schmitt posed a warning. He said that Sofinnova often ended up with 70 percent or 80 percent ownership. Having only 20 percent of a company was a very frustrating experience, he said. The whole matter is a game of foxes - the VCs - and rabbits, the entrepreneurs. As the foxes get more successful at hunting, supplies of rabbits dry up and the fox population diminishes. That gives the rabbits the chances to breed and multiply again.

Il y a quelques règles précises pour espérer pouvoir passer à l’open-source. Il faut d’abord répondre à un vrai besoin, sinon, personne ne s’y intéressera. Il faut ensuite construire une communauté, ce qui est sans doute le plus dur. Il faut enfin continuer à innover en permanence.
