Greek cheated .....
The Greek’s way into the currency union has been well known: it cheated the initial 10 members with cooked accountancy books. Because of this the Greek membership was postponed for several months. Then, the political idea of eurozone enlargement took over the cautious risks and Greece was accepted as the 11th zone’s member. However, the EU did not learn the lesson and the tragedy happens again after about a decade.

Les besoins d'emprunt de la Grèce sont couverts jusqu'à la mi-mars et Athènes a pour l'instant atteint les objectifs définis par son plan d'austérité, a déclaré son Premier ministre, Georges Papandréou, dans un entretien télévisé diffusé dimanche par la BBC.
Les craintes d'un défaut de la Grèce sur sa dette ont fortement secoué les marchés financiers et affaibli l'euro ces dernières semaines.
"A ce stade, nous n'avons pas besoin d'emprunter, nos besoins d'emprunts sont couverts jusqu'à la mi-mars", a dit le chef du gouvernement en réponse à une question sur une éventuelle émission obligataire d'Athènes la semaine prochaine.
