 PARIS  - Le gouvernement français a évoqué pour la première fois vendredi l'hypothèse d'un scénario de sortie du nucléaire à l'horizon 2040-2050

 

Eric Besson: Energies 2050

 Le ministère de l'Industrie Eric Besson a précisé à Reuters que certains des scénarios étudiés comporteraient une "sortie totale du nucléaire à horizon 2050, voire 2040".

 Il n'en reste pas moins que le gouvernement français et Nicolas Sarkozy avaient toujours refusé jusqu'ici d'évoquer un scénario de sortie du nucléaire, même hypothétique.

Depuis le début de son quinquennat, le président français n'a eu de cesse de chercher à vendre la technologie nucléaire française partout dans le monde.

L'accident de la centrale de Fukushima, au Japon, après le tremblement de terre et le tsunami du 11 mars, a cependant changé la donne et rendu les opinions publiques plus réceptives aux arguments des opposants au nucléaire.

Selon un sondage Ipsos/Reuters effectué ce printemps auprès de 19.000 personnes dans 24 pays, 62% de l'opinion mondiale serait ainsi hostile à cette forme d'énergie.

C'est dans cette perspective que l'étude Energies 2050 sera conduite

AUTOMOBILE - L'Etat ne participera finalement pas financièrement au projet...usine batteries France

La production de batteries destinées aux futurs véhicules électriques de Renault ne commencera qu'en 2014 à l'usine de Flins (Yvelines) au lieu de mi-2012 prévu initialement, a déclaré jeudi un porte-parole du constructeur automobile français.

«C'est début 2014 l'entrée en production»,

 

La pose de la première pierre de l'usine de batteries, un projet dont la première phase est estimé à 600 millions d'euros, est prévue au deuxième trimestre de l'année prochaine. La capacité de production envisagée est de 100.000 batteries par an.

 Une porte-parole de Renault a précisé que le Fonds stratégique d'investissement (FSI), un organisme public, ne participerait également pas au projet. Il devait initialement investir 125 millions d'euros, comme annoncé en 2009.

June 22, 2011   The meters cost up to €240 each, with the cost spread over several years, typically about €2 a month. The government has considered subsidising this, and will reach a decision this summer.  Customers also face a €42-a-year charge to access a new online account where they can access their meter readings and monitor their consumption.

Les investisseurs reprennent position dans la nouvelle Tunisie

  Lotfi Bel Hadj, patron du fonds luxembourgeois Greenrock Funds,

soit l'un des premiers à retourner en Tunisie. Avec un projet ambitieux. Cet entrepreneur franco-tunisien de 46 ans, acteur important de la compensation carbone, est en train d'y créer un fonds d'investissement éthique et solidaire.

 "Ce fonds privé à capitaux ouverts, basé en Tunisie, aura vocation à s'allier avec un fonds public pour créer des entreprises leaders dans chacun des secteurs économiques et ancrées dans différentes régions de Tunisie", explique Mohammed Hadfi, responsable du projet Insaf Fund (équité, en arabe). Ce consultant de 35 ans voit dans ces partenariats public-privé un bon moyen de diversifier le tissu économique tunisien, en spécialisant des bassins d'emplois régionaux amenés à devenir des pôles d'excellence. Côté privé, plusieurs dizaines de millions d'euros sont prévus pour le capital de départ de ce fonds. Lequel a déjà enregistré plusieurs projets de financement, comme le groupe de presse WinPress Group, emblématique de l'engagement affiché de M. Bel Hadj et visant à rompre avec le passé et "les affres du bénalisme".

  350 sociétés étrangères sur les 1 000 déjà inscrites au Tunisia Investment Forum, les 16 et 17 juin, à Carthage. Parmi elles, on note de nouveaux venus russes, américains et asiatiques.

‘You can make the Internet safe for Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga, or you can make it safe for the next Skype,’ said Benkler, referring to the pop music stars and the wildly successful start-up internet telephony service. ‘You have to choose.’

Des centrales nucléaires à l'arrêt à cause de la sécheresse?

  Les nappes phréatiques sont à des niveaux exceptionnellement bas. Conséquence: le niveau et le débit des cours d'eau baissent aussi. Les réacteurs nucléaires qui ne sont pas situés en bord de mer ont besoin de ces cours d'eau pour être refroidis. Et si leur niveau est insuffisant, le refroidissement n'est plus possible.

«On est dans un scénario qui pourrait conduire à une situation dramatique, s'alarme Stéphane Lhomme, candidat écologiste pour 2012 et président de l'Observatoire du nucléaire, organisme indépendant de surveillance. Il y a des risques de rupture dans le processus de refroidissement. Si le niveau est trop bas, EDF va devoir arrêter assez tôt pour continuer à pomper l'eau en espérant que les cœurs soient assez refroidis.»

Car un réacteur doit être refroidi même après l'arrêt. Joint jeudi, EDF n'a souhaité faire «aucun commentaire» sur cette situation, reconnaissant néanmoins «un niveau d'eau inférieur à la normale dans nos lacs et bassins d'eau sujets à la sécheresse».

In a deal that highlights the rapid maturation of the solar industry, French oil major Total SA said Thursday it would spend $1.37 billion to buy a controlling stake in SunPower Corp.

The deal weds a solar company that industry observers say has an attractive technology to make high-quality, high-efficiency panels with a traditional fossil-fuel company that has access to cash and credit needed to accelerate solar deployment around the world.
