Alstom-EDF bank on 6MW turbine to secure lion’s share of France offshore wind

 In anticipation of the government’s call for tenders, EDF Energies Nouvelles last week signed an agreement with power goliath Alstom to jointly bid in the offshore wind tender process. Under the agreement Alstom will be the exclusive supplier of 6MW offshore wind turbines, (to be market-ready from 2013), for the construction of offshore wind farms developed by EDF Energies Nouvelles and its partners. 

Wind Energy Update speaks to Philippe Cochet, Senior Vice-President of Alstom Hydro & Wind about Alstom’s pact with EDF Energies Nouvelles to jointly bid for the France’s proposed 6GW of offshore wind, and to learn more about Alstom’s latest 6MW direct drive turbine.

 The French government is poised to launch the first round of bidding for 3GW (of a planned 6GW) of offshore wind farms, with France’s President, Nicolas Sarkozy, expected to outline the main points of the €10 billion offshore wind tender process on Tuesday 25th.

France has set a goal of producing 23 per cent of its power needs from renewable resources by 2020, of which 6,000 MW will be from offshore wind power. The proposed 600-turbine offshore wind farms are slated to be built on five sites between Saint-Nazaire and Dieppe/Le Tréport.

Le plus grave c'est que Renault bénéficie de crédits d'impôts sur le dos des contribuables 4 milliarsds d'euro ($5bn)

Il semble devenir de notoriété publique que Renault se livre au pillage de la propriété intellectuelle de ses fournisseurs. On en arrive au fond de l'histoire peut être, Renault a peut être voulu allumer des contre-feux pour cacher "ses misères" ... toutest possible. Le plus grave c'est que Renault bénéficie de crédits d'impôts sur le dos des contribuables, et que font Oseo et les services fiscaux qui valident ces R & D imaginaires de 4 milliards d'euro ? de surcroit pour une groupe dont lesiège social est en hollande .... semble t-il. Pas beau tout cela ?

 La batterie lithium ion que vous avez dans vos téléphones portables et dans vos ordinateurs. Mais selon nous, quand vous augmentez la capacité d'électricité, ces batteries qui sont liquides présentent un certain nombre de caractéristiques de danger. »

« La particularité de notre bus Gruau est que les batteries peuvent être posées sur le toit, malgré le soleil, parce qu'elles peuvent supporter 160 ou 170 degrés. Les lithium ion ne peuvent pas supporter plus de 60-70 degrés. On doit les mettre dans la carrosserie. » L'architecture du véhicule en subit les conséquences, notamment par rapport à l'accès des handicapés.

Le problème en France, par exemple, c'est que quand vous voulez augmenter d'un euro le salaire d'une caissière, vous allez payer des cotisations fiscales pour financer l'assurance-maladie, les allocations familiales, etc.

Par contre, si vous dépensez un euro pour acheter une nouvelle machine pour remplacer la caissière, vous ne payez pas de cotisation sociale.

Les "Tpme" sont actuellement victimes de "manoeuvres de gangsters" mises au point par certaines banques, qui 

créent, entre elles et leurs malheureux clients, un écran nommé le "le chargé de clientèle, espèce sympathique, 

principalement féminine mais : qui ne sait rien, ne doit rien dire, n'a aucun pouvoir, ne sait rien, et que l'on 

peut tenter de joindre sans résultats 10 à 20 fois par jour. Ainsi, après avoir gaspillé des milliards dans les 

produits dérivés", le vrai paysage Bancaire d'aujourd'hui est celui - ci, et le reste est mensonge : Annulation 

des découverts bancaires sans préavis réglementaire, activation des cautions personnelles, blocage "interne" 

abusif des cartes de crédit, retrait des formules de chèques, rejet des prélévements automatiques, signalement à 

la banque de France, afin d'empêcher l'ouverture d'un deuxième compte Bancaire. Ce système bancaire est pervers 

car les banques prélèvent des agios et intérêts sur les découverts, qu'elles coupent quand elles veulent, car la 

légalité chez elles est une abstraction, ce faisant elles provoquent les incidents bancaires et en avertissent 

leur "confrérie", de sorte, qu'avec un carnet de commande plein, il est quand même possible d'être "immolé" sur 

l'autel des banques ! Que cherchent ces "poissons froids" ? L'explosion du chômage ? Que les patrons des "tpme" 

s'immolent devant les luxueuses villas des Directeurs de banque ?

Orange dément brider l’accès au site Megaupload

 Depuis la mise en œuvre de la loi Hadopi, des sites comme Megaupload et Megavideo, qui proposent du téléchargement et du streaming, ont la faveur des internautes. Mais leur accès ne se fait pas toujours dans de bonnes conditions. Les abonnés d'Orange qui se sont connectés à ces deux sites entre le 12 janvier à 18 heures et le 13 janvier jusqu’à 5 heures du matin, ont eu la surprise de voir un pop-up s’afficher sur leur écran.

Sous le titre « Alerte de connectivité », celui-ci avertissait les utilisateurs que, s’ils trouvaient les téléchargements lents et la lecture de vidéo hésitante, c’est probablement parce que leur FAI restreignait intentionnellement l’accès au site. « Nos statistiques de réclamations indiquent que la plupart des utilisateurs qui ont ce problème ont accès à l’Internet via France Télécom, souvent sous la marque Orange. »

The American computer giant IBM has come under pressure from local politicians over a potential relocation of its French operation from La Gaude to Sophia Antipolis.

Six regional councilors have joined the mayor of La Gaude, Michel Meïni in launching an online petition against the move. The men will also send a copy of the appeal to the French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

IBM have been based at its current site for over 50 years, but the software firm is anxious to move thanks to concerns over the rising cost of the lease on their 35,000 square metre site.

UMP representative for the Alpes-Maritimes’ sixth district, Lionnel Luca also expressed his support for the protest to keep IBM where it is. "The fact that the IBM management is considering relocating to Sophia Antipolis for financial reasons means that anything is possible. We may even see the end of IBM’s presence in the region in years to come. We have the best interests of the site’s 600 employees at heart."

Who will come when he is not free to go 

 Luca, suggested that the influence of the Mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, who is a former minister of industry in Nicolas Sarkozy’s government, may help to keep the company in La Gaude.

Alcatel-Lucent admits to bribing African officials in six countries

 Admission by Alcatel-Lucent of improper payments to obtain telecom contracts in six African countries has shown that corruption in the region’s telecom sector is still rife despite targeted efforts to punish companies and government officials involved in the practice.

The company used third parties in Kenya, Nigeria, Angola, Ivory Coast, Uganda and Mali who acted as conduits for bribing customers and officials in order to obtain telecom contracts. Alcatel S.A. and three of its subsidiaries have agreed to pay a combined US$92 million penalty to resolve a Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) led by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations into the worldwide sales practices of Alcatel S.A. prior to its 2006 merger with Lucent Technologies to form Alcatel-Lucent.

 

 “For a long time now, it’s really been difficulty to understand how Alcatel has been able to get many contracts in Africa including supply contracts for undersea cables. Now it’s clear,” said Amos Kalunga, a telecom analyst from the Computer Society of Zambia.

 Le mois dernier, le groupe Bolloré a été choisi pour mener le projet Autolib', qui consiste en la création d'un parc de véhicules électriques en libre-service destiné à Paris et sa banlieue. Très ambitieux, le groupe espère pouvoir proposer d'ici à 2016 quelque 5.000 véhicules propres.

 Grâce à une nouvelle génération de batteries lithium-métal-polymère (LMP) mise au point par le groupe, les voitures disposeront d'une autonomie de plus de 250 kilomètres. En outre, la qualité de cette batterie pourra être rapidement améliorée grâce au prêt de 130 millions d'euros que la banque européenne d'investissement (BEI) a accordé dans ce but à Bolloré.
